CrowdVest investors come together to help fund available opportunities. All CrowdVest opportunities are private and secure and are made alongside accredited investors.

CrowdVest does not charge any fees upfront to be a part of any of the investment offerings. Membership is free. You can select an unlimited number of opportunities and pay only the required investment for your share of ownership. The only fees assessed are industry-standard acquisition and property management fees (approx 3%) associated with each investment. These fees only come out of total funds raised for the investment or from the income / revenue generated by each opportunity. Applicable fees will already be deducted before you receive your distributions every month or quarter.

Most CrowdVest opportunities require a minimum investment of $250. However, depending on the opportunity and total funds needed, there may be offers where the minimum investment is modified.

CrowdVest has made the business decision to pursue opportunities without the use of debt-based leverage. By not taking on any debt, we avoid associated risks such as financial distress during economic downturns or even foreclosure. Not taking on debt also increases cashflow due to not paying mortgages. This translates to higher immediate investment returns that go back into your pocket.

Yes, you will be responsible for paying taxes on any income earned from your investments. We will provide you with a Schedule K-1 form, which will detail your share of income, deductions, and credits. You will use this form when you file your taxes.

The Schedule K-1 form is a tax document that shows how much money you earned from your investments with CrowdVest, similar to the W-2 or 1099 you get from your job. It details your share of income and any deductions. You'll use it to help file your taxes each year.

The word offering is used to describe a company presenting a security for sale. It details the investment opportunity. The word offering can be used synonymously with investment opportunity, project, or deal.

A security is a type of investment you can buy, like a piece of a company (stock) or a loan to a company or government (bond). With CrowdVest, the security is your percentage ownership in each project.

CrowdVest opportunities are open to both non-accredited and accredited investors.

You are considered an Accredited Investor when you meet at least one of these criteria determined by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the United States.
